VALLEJO, CA- On March 16, 2024, at approximately 12:21 P.M., Vallejo Police Department (VPD) officers responded to a call for service to assist the Solano County Major Crimes Task Force in conducting a follow-up investigation at a residence located on the 2000 block of Garnet Circle. 

Upon arrival, officers discovered an adult male deceased at the scene. The Vallejo Police Department Detective Division responded and took over this investigation. The motive and circumstances surrounding this incident are currently under investigation.

This incident marks the 5th homicide in the city of Vallejo for the year 2024.
