Relationship-based policing relies upon strengthening trust and partnerships between police and communities, with the goal of achieving greater community safety.

As part of the Vallejo Police Department’s (VPD) relationship-based policing efforts, VPD is assigning its four Operations Lieutenants to focus on specific Service Areas in Vallejo – North, South, East and West.

Each Lieutenant will be focused on problem-solving in their assigned areas and working with community members to address quality-of-life concerns and other issues.
