Daily Incident Log
In a typical year, Vallejo PD responds to some 58,000 incidents of all types. That works out to over 4,800
incidents per month, or around 160 incidents a day on average. Some incidents are quickly resolved; however,
other take several hours or more to respond to. As such, this incident log will classify an incident as
“Pending” if we have not responded to the call for service at the time the log is placed on our website.
Vallejo Police Department I.T. staff has automated the system so the incident logs are updated daily and will
reflect the current disposition at the time of the update.
Our ability to provide the public with information beyond what is listed in these logs is governed by various
policies and laws. In some instances, the information is completely exempt from disclosure and cannot be
released. The existence of these logs do not in any way change our department’s procedures on requesting
copies of police reports or initiating public records act requests. This information is being provided for
transparency and awareness only. Street addresses are rounded to the nearest hundred block or intersection, and the date and
time shown is when the incident or crime was reported to us, not necessarily when it took place.
