On November 20, 2023, at approximately 11:43 A.M., the Vallejo Police Department responded to an armed robbery in the 3400 block of Sonoma Blvd.

Responding officers located the vehicle described by the victim(s) in the immediate area. The suspect vehicle led officers on a short vehicle pursuit that concluded when the suspect crashed into an uninvolved vehicle near Tennessee/Sonoma Blvd. A foot pursuit took place after the collision and an officer-involved shooting took place soon thereafter. A handgun was recovered at the scene. The suspect sustained at least one gunshot wound that appears to not be life threatening. This is an active and ongoing investigation. The Solano County Major Crimes Task Force responded to the scene and has taken over the criminal investigation.
