Racial and Identity Profiling Data
The Racial and Identity Profiling Act (RIPA) of 2015 requires all California law enforcement agencies to collect and report detailed information for every stop conducted by peace officers. This includes when and where the stop occurred, the reason for the stop, and demographic information about the person stopped.
